The word conscience makes me think of what we think others perceive us to be like and what we do and the right of wrong of our given actions. From a psychological perspective, as a psychology major, I think of the word conscious as how humans have the ability to control what they do and the actions they take unlike with our subconscious. Our subconscious is an automatic response which we cannot control. Conscience is similar to the word conscious in that we want people to like us therefore being reactive to what is said about us and shown of us.
